Welcome to my home page. Hi, I'm Kathleen Ambro, author of the new Adventures of Bebe and Poppy series. I wrote the series to encourage good character traits and to teach children that making wise choices can affect their lives in a positive way. The idea for the series came about when my son, at a very young age, rescued two garden lizards from the neighbor's cat. He decided to keep them as pets and named them Bebe and Poppy and so their adventures begin. . . .
Book 1:Why Lizards Wear Tennis Shoes introduces the comical lizards Bebe and Poppy and how they deal with a very big problem and discover that recycling can be fun.
Book 2: Horrible Horrace deals with the timely topic of a bully.
Book 3: The Trouble With Spike brings back, by popular demand, the cat from the first book. It focuses on homelessness and how caring for others can lead to new friendships.
