In the short time that Bebe and Poppy have made their debut, they have traveled quite a distance. They have been seen in several cities in California, Washington State, Oregon, Arizona, Texas, Ohio, Iowa, Idaho, Maryland, Vermont, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia, Hawaii, Japan, and New Zealand. Not bad for a couple of lizards who have only been on the scene since December 3rd, 2008. It must be those tennis shoes that let them travel so far, so fast!

Letters of sightings are streaming in:

Grace loved "Why Lizards Wear Tennis Shoes. She took it to school to share with her friends . . . it wound up on Reading Buddy Day with the 5th & 6th graders. The older kids each took turns reading a page of the book to the 1st graders! Her teacher said that the kids loved the illustrations and it provided a great discussion on how special God made lizards. Grace said her favorite part was the cat with the eye patch and when Bebe and Poppy made all the shoes. The 5th and 6th graders loved the book too! They thought it was the coolest thing that the author signed it to Grace! When I told Grace there might be other books with Bebe and Poppy . . . she said, "yahoo!" We definitely look forward to reading more about Bebe and Poppy!
